The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way we’re currently operating.
At Re:Charge, community is at the heart of all we do. We are a registered charity based within Maidenhead and our aim is to create safe spaces, build relationships and ignite change in people’s lives. We hold drop-in sessions and offer virtual support for our families, and we have an adult support group called Re:Focus. We wish to create a sense of belonging, and support, where each person feels valued and seen.
Our family sessions have changed recently due to Covid-19. We are currently holding two sessions a week on a Tuesday at the Larchfield Community Centre. Our Re:Focus group is a group for adults (18+) and at this time it takes place very Wednesday, online via Zoom. We also and offer one-to-one support over the phone, text or via Zoom calls.
Re:Charge operates most weeks of the year, including during school holiday time, when we usually put on special craft activities.
We work closely with other agencies within the RBWM such as Foodshare and Baby Bank, and we are able to signpost or refer families and individuals as appropriate.
We have an opportunity for a temporary contract (1 year) to cover maternity leave based at the Re:Charge office in North Road, Maidenhead.
